big island weissenborn

The Big Island Professional Range loosely based on the Weissenborn Style 4 is built using only select solid tone woods. Utilising the fantastic tonal qualities of Mahogany one of the closest sounding woods to Koa the traditional wood used By H. Weissenborn in the 1920s. Hawaiian rope bindings using Maple and Indian Rosewood, a figured Mahogany finger board and a Rosewood bridge gives the guitar a beautifully authentic look. Hand crafted in the Weissenborn style and respecting the rich heritage of the Hawaiian lap steel, the Big Island Professional Range sets a new standard and is an instrument built to be played.
