John has been working professionally as a musician in Ireland since 1994. During that time he has had the pleasure and privilege of working with some of Ireland’s finest artists, performers and musicians, playing on some award winning albums and touring extensively. John has performed with artists such as, Jerry Fish, Imelda May, Damian Rice, Glen Hansard, Sharon Shannon, Camille O’Sullivan, Mundy, Neil Hannon, Cathy Davey and many more..John is a multi-instrumentalist but as of late has set his focus solely on developing his style on lap steel guitar which has been described as “lamenting”, “nostalgic”, “mellow” and “soulful”. John is currently recording his first album which is due for release in the first half of 2013 .

Wille and the Bandits, the internationally acclaimed artists have been receiving praise across the globe for their fresh approach to roots music.

From the versatility of Wille’s lap slide and guitar playing to the rhythmic diversity of percussionist Andrew Naumann they always keep audiences guessing. Often likened to the greats of the 70’s such as Led Zeppelin, Santana and Pink Floyd, this comparison, although brave, only scrapes the surface of the Bandit’s influences.

Rackhouse Pilfer are a six-piece bluegrass, folk, alt-country and Americana Band based in Sligo, on the northwest coast of Ireland. Formed in 2012 through lifelong musical friendships and bands ranging from folk and blues, to American country, traditional Irish music and even heavy metal. These early influences have brought the band to a radically distinctive sound and high octane performance on s...tage. Along with original songs, the band performs bluegrass & folk songs, old-time country songs & reinterpretations of their favourite artists/music. Building on our successful album launch 'Back to the Country' Rackhouse are touring all over Ireland & Europe this summer to promote their Debut Album. Having formed in 2012 the lads are very excited about having come so far in such a short time. 'Sligo has been very good to us!!! Grizzly and the Grasshoppers (ST-0MME)

Grizzly & the Grasshoppers is an acoustic blues and roots band, based in the South East of England, which is fast establishing itself on the wider music scene. The band features the powerful and gritty vocals of lead singer, Rhys Morgan, who plays guitar, lap-slide guitar, and harmonica; the multi-talented Jamie Bowden on keyboards, guitar and the djembe; the driving rhythms of Neil “Nelly” Shervell on drums; and the sexy sounds of “The Saz Train” Sarah Willis on saxophone. The vocal harmonies complete the full and heartfelt sound born out of the band`s true passion for music.

Roberto Diana (BIP-0MM with Seymore Duncan Magmic)

Italian guitar player, engineer and producer. He plays pretty much anything and everything with strings, including acoustic and electric guitars, lap steel, dobro, weissenborn, banjo and bouzouki. Brought up in Sardinia healthy doses of Rock and local roots music, Roberto moved to Milan at a young age to work with Pietro Nobile and Donato Begotti. Since then, Roberto has played literally hundreds of gigs. Also, he has established a solid reputation in the studio, having worked both as an engineer and a producer on more than 30 recording projects. Roberto is a subtle yet powerful guitarist, equally at ease in both electric and acoustic settings. His personal musical style infuses classic guitar virtuosity with a rock n roll sensibility, making for an exciting and enthralling listen.

Hip Route (TD-0MM with Fishman single coil pickup)

Coming from different musical backgrounds, their combined influences mean that they have created some tunes that cross genre but always sound like Hip Route, and with Jim's skill on the Lap slide, they’re always guaranteed to get the place rocking.

Alex Roberts blends genres from baroque to blues, with a warm soulful voice, finger-style guitar, some fine lapsteel playing, mandolin, and a stompbox to boot. His songs are shaped, sculpted and coloured by the myriad experiences of his life, from his time spent travelling and absorbing various cultures across Europe and the Indian subcontinent, which gave birth to his debut album 'The Giant Killer Sessions'; to his reclusive lifestyle in a tepee, and the writing of his second album 'By The Ley' and new album “Fairwood and Stone".

Echo Town (AW-0MM with Seymore Duncan Magmic)

Echo Town is a folk rock and reggae feelgood band made up of brothers Richard and Robert Harrison. Their eclectic mix of instruments and sounds keep their audiences tapping their feet from start to finish. They site as their influences as Xavier Rudd, The John Butler Trio and Ben Harper to name a few, as well as surfing at the nearest coast. They however use their background of many musical genres to shape their grooves and vibes. They are rarely joined by other musicians on stage as according to one show organiser "they create more sound and variety than a 10-piece band". Keith Ames from The Musician magazine says of their 2011 Come on Over album that "Echo Town blast out a goodtime, uplifting and contemporary view of modern life".

Kris Dollimore (LT-0MME)

Kris has seen all sides of life as a musician. From his humble beginnings playing the working men's clubs, in his home town on the Isle Of Sheppey, to the dizzy heights of performing on some of the world's greatest stages including London's Royal Albert Hall and Tokyo's Budokan. He has also appeared on credible TV shows Later with Jools Holland, Top of the Pops and America's Tonight Show with Jay Leno...

Kris is a world class musician, whose goal is not world domination or financial greed, but to make great, primitive, human music.

Pat Tierney (AWS-0MG with Seymour Duncan Mag Mic pickup)

Pat Tierney’s music is heartfelt, genuine and carefully crafted. He has an innate ability to tell stories through song. His music is brimming with old time folk and blues influences, but he has found his groove in incorporating the sounds of his trusty lap slide guitar. Pat has been playing music for a long time and intends on bringing his music to audiences for a long time to come

While the creation of his music may pay homage to the likes of Ben Harper, Harry Manx & Bob Marley, Pat's laid back and individual sound shines through on his latest self-produced EP 'Take On The World', released in June 2012.

Cephalodidge (ST-0MME)

Cephalodidge are an Isle of Wight based tribal folk band that play 'totally enchanting music' based around the didgeridoo, djembe and lap/slide guitar. Many of their songs express a deep love of the land and ocean. Cephalodidge will be performing at the Artemis Gathering this year and also Witchfest International. Last year Cephalodidge supported the Dolmen and Damh the Bard. The album 'The Path' has received very favorable reviews and is a unique, atmospheric and enchanting journey
